Arganorh - The Twin Continents by Levodoom Arganorh - The Twin Continents by Levodoom
A remake of an older map I did some ways back. It's more or less finished, but I'll likely add more to it at a later date.

Super awesome. I'm working on a huge map myself. When I post it, would you mind giving me your feedback?

Sorry, but I'm not really the kind of person to give feedback. I'm sure there are others who are more willing, though.

This is amazing. So much detail. I can only imagine how long this took to make.

Thanks! I believe I started on this in January last year, and didn't finish until March. But I think that was mainly because I took long breaks between sessions.

Well then. That sure is a long time, but it was definitely worth it. The end result blew my mind.

Hey Levodoom, I love your creations. I was wondering if it would be alright if I used this to create a map for a Minecraft server. Certainly, I would have to give you some type of credit. Awesome map. I hope you keep doing what your doing because you do it well.

In all honesty I would prefer if you didn't. This map is for the moment the official map of my project, and I don't want it to be associated with anything else. However, I already gave someone else the go to use a section of this map for their Minecraft server, which I'm sort of inclined to be okay with. I'll allow you to use my map as long as you only use a section of the map, which doesn't exceed too large of an area (say over half of the map). And, of course as you mentioned, as long as you give credit where it is due. This might come off as a bit overprotective on my part, but, like I said, I'd prefer if my map maintained a main association with the Third Era project. Also, if you have a server forum, I would like a link to it so I can keep an eye out on your development.

This is a pretty boring and cliché answer, but time and practice is the best way to explain it.

This is a beautiful map and a great piece of work. I was curious, did you set a specific scale for it?

And I'm sure you will. One thing I would mention though is that your rivers need work. You have rivers splitting all over the place and lakes with multiple outflows. I would recommend doing some research in to the behaviour of rivers. As it is now they defy logic and science.

Aye, I agree with you on that. I've been meaning to do some research on rivers to make them more realistic. That will probably be the next thing I'll work to improve on.

Thanks!

Took quite some time. Worked on this over the span of a couple of weeks, though most of the time was spent redoing it since I had a hard time finding the right style I wanted. Originally I wanted a something more old-parchment map style deal, but in the end I decided that I'd just keep going with the general style I've grown to develop for my latest maps.
