Isle of Fay by Levodoom Isle of Fay by Levodoom
The Isle of Fay lies just north of the North Dales and High Marches, and west of the Frostwinders. It was first settled by humans of the first Nordghovain Kingdoms, and was at the time considered the seat of power in the north for all the great kings of Norrhan. In time, the island was abandoned, and its cities were taken by the wild forest. A few centuries later, the Aedh Silvai elves took the island for their own purposes, and built five fortresses on the only stretches of land where a potential army could land without taking damage from the sharp cliffs that surround the island. The island was retaken, after much hard effort, by King Baelor in the Age of Strife, but fell from his kingdom's grasp once more as the Aedain kingdom crumbled after his assassination.

Today the Isle of Fay stands unclaimed, but its cities and fortresses lie in ruin.

from the kingscarr to the bay of lonliness, its okay if he didnt draw it, it can be assumed since he knows what a drain looks like =)

Most of the rivers go under or through the mountains, and I simply decided not to draw the outlets.

Damn, look at all those mountains! Getting around must be a nightmare!

Indeed, the many cliffs and mountains make this island a terrible place to inhabit, as does the extremely cold winds during winter. However, the island holds meaningful strategic importance due to its location, and the difficult-to-traverse mountains make it ideal to defend for a long period of time.
